Yes, medical marijuana patients in Oregon can have a caregiver. To apply as a caregiver, follow this process:

  1. Patient fills out the application form.
  2. Caregiver completes the caregiver part of the Application Form 
  3. Upload caregiver ID and pay

Caregivers are those who have been nominated to provide qualifying patients access to medical cannabis, in particular minors and those who are unable to go to a dispensary or grow cannabis on their own The designated primary caregiver is the person that has significant responsibility for managing the well-being of a person who has been diagnosed with a debilitating medical condition. Primary caregiver does not include the patient’s physician. A patient may only have one primary caregiver.
