Can I renew my Florida Medical Marijuana Card online?
You can get a medical cannabis certificate online with Leafwell, but renewals only - not new certifications.
We currently are only able to see existing Leafwell patients online (via telemedicine) for renewals in Florida.
Below is a summary of the entire process of renewing a medical card:
-
Sign in to your existing Leafwell account.
-
Update your renewal registration and book an appointment.
-
After getting approved, the provider will refill your medication order***
-
If your state card is due to expire, log into the Florida Medical Marijuana Program to complete the state-side renewal application.
-
Receive email approval from the Florida state agency and legally purchase cannabis from a licensed dispensary.
***Prior to your appointment, the state requires that you "self-deactivate" from your previous physician if you are booked with a different provider. Detailed instructions can be found here.
