How often do I need to renew my Delaware Medical Marijuana Card?
Delaware medical marijuana certificates are valid for one year and can be renewed online.
A renewal consultation with Leafwell costs $99, and you'll only be charged if approved. Plus, when you use Leafwell to renew your certification, we’ll send you a reminder email 90 days before your card is due to expire to make sure you have plenty of time to submit your renewal application online.
Here's a summary of the renewal process:
- Sign in to Leafwell, or if you’re new to Leafwell, register as a renewal patient here.
- Speak to a Delaware-licensed physician online and get approved.
- Your physician will submit your certification to the state program.
- Log back into your Delaware Medical Marijuana Program account to complete your state application online and pay the $50 state fee.
- Receive your medical card within 45 days.
