How often do I need to renew my Nevada Medical Marijuana Card?
Nevada medical marijuana certificates are valid for one or two years (determined by your healthcare provider) and can be renewed online. Leafwell patients will receive a 2-year certification by default.
A renewal consultation with Leafwell costs $79, and you'll only be charged if approved. Plus, when you renew with Leafwell, we'll send you a reminder 30 days before your certification expires so you have plenty of time to complete your renewal application with the state.
Here's a summary of the renewal process:
- Sign in to Leafwell, or if you’re new to Leafwell, register as a renewal patient here.
- Speak to a Nevada-licensed healthcare provider online and get approved.
- Request a patient application from the Nevada Medical Marijuana Registry.
- Send us a copy of your application (documents@secure.leafwell.com), and your provider will complete the Attending Healthcare Provider Statement from your application within 48 hours.
- Submit your paperwork to the state, pay the state registration fee, and receive your card in 7-10 days.
