How often do I need to renew my Missouri medical marijuana card?
Missouri medical marijuana certificates are valid for three years and can be renewed online.
A renewal consultation with Leafwell costs $99, and you'll only be charged if approved. Plus, when you renew with Leafwell, we'll send you a reminder 30 days before your certification expires to make sure you have plenty of time to submit your renewal application with the state.
Here's a summary of the renewal process:
- Sign in to Leafwell, or if you’re new to Leafwell, register as a renewal patient here.
- Speak to a Missouri-licensed healthcare provider online.
- Once approved, the provider will submit your certification directly to the state.
- Log into the Missouri Medical Marijuana Program to complete the state renewal application and pay the $26.50 state fee.
- After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email from the state with an application reference code/application ID number.
- Once approved, immediately download your new card from your registry portal.
