A renewal consultation with Leafwell costs $99 and you'll only be charged if approved. Plus, when you use Leafwell to renew your certification, we'll send you a renewal reminder one month before it expires to ensure that you avoid a lapse in coverage.

Here's a summary of the renewal process:

1. Sign in to Leafwell, or if you’re new to Leafwell, register as a renewal patient here.
2. Speak to a New York licensed physician online.
3. Get approved and the provider submits your registration directly to MCDMS.
4. A copy of your state-issued certification will be uploaded to Leafwell within 48 business hours. You will receive an email as soon as it is available to download.
5. Present a copy of your certification and government-issued ID at the dispensary to purchase medical cannabis.
