How much cannabis can I possess in New York with an MMJ card?
Patients can possess up to a 60-day supply of cannabis with a valid NY medical marijuana certificate. However, the prescribing healthcare provider can use their professional judgment and limit the amount of cannabis a patient can have.
Recreational marijuana is legal in New York, and anyone at least 21 can possess up to 3 ounces of flower or 24 grams of concentrate for personal consumption.
New York residents 21 and older may grow up to six plants, with no more than 12 plants in one household.
