How often do I need to renew my Mississippi Medical Marijuana Card?
Mississippi medical marijuana certifications are valid for one year. While your initial certification must be done through an in-person appointment, you can complete follow-ups and annual renewals online.
A renewal consultation with Leafwell costs $199, and you'll only be charged if approved. Plus, when you renew with Leafwell, we'll send you a reminder 30 days before your certification expires so you have plenty of time to complete your renewal application with the state.
Here's a summary of the renewal process:
-
Sign in to Leafwell, or if you’re new to Leafwell, register as a renewal patient here.
-
Speak to a Mississippi-licensed provider online and get approved.
-
Your provider will submit your certification to the state.
-
Log into your account with the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program to complete the state application and pay the $25 state fee.
-
Receive your state approval and access your digital card to legally purchase cannabis from a licensed dispensary.
